Pretend
as Buddhist and marry, when pregnant, abuse and force to be Islam by Muslim man
A case happened, man acting like a
Myanmar-Buddhist and married to woman, and then he refuse to do ceremony of
tradition cause of he is Muslim. Bridegroom Bo Bo Han
signed as Myanmar-Buddhist in wedding certificate in front of the authorities
of No (3) quarter, Thone Kwa Town, Yangon Division. They signed on 24.6.2015.
At 26.6.2015, Bride
who called Chaw Su Aung discussed for doing ceremony of tradition but Bo Bo Han
revealed he is a real Muslim and he can’t agree with Chaw Su Aung. Later, Bo Bo Han went
to work at “Kyaw” material shop, Saw Bwar Gyi Gone, Insein Tsp, Yangon and he
came back to Chaw Su Aung’s home 2 days in a week.
Everytime when they talked about their wedding
ceremony, he always abuse and violence to Chaw Su Aung. And also he said he
will accept as a legal wife if she became a Muslim. At 17.11.2015, they traveled to their parents
place at Da Nu Phyu and when she explained their marriage situation to Bo Bo
Han parents, in the meantime Bo Bo Han punched and kicked and threaten to be
killed in the in front of his parents
for Chaw Su Aung denied to be Muslim.
Now she complained this case to police station
in Thone Gwa Township. The police accepted that case by (pa) 17/2016, Special
Marriage Law (34). At that time Chaw Su Aung is 24 years old and
she had been pregnant for 6 months. Bo Bo Han is 18 years old. Thone Gwa and Insein police stations joined
and worked together to arrested Bo Bo Han. Bo Bo Han used bad influence and threaten to
change his wife’s religion and belief. In case of that he will be arrested by
the Religious Changing law section 18.By the law of Special Religious law section (18) can be prison 2 years, fine 2 hundred thousand and with the Special Marriage law section (34) can be prison 2 years and 20 hundred thousand fine. Race and Religion Protection Law is describe as security law and it will be punish the person who is insult one religion to another religion. Especially it protect from illegal way to force someone to be an Islamized.
