"Musel Preaching Ceremony"
12.6.2016 and 13.6.2016,
8:30 pm, preaching ceremonies are celebrated in Lar Ba Myit Tar chapel of Mahar
Won Monastery, Musel, and Northern Shan State. Donated
by De Par La Min Company. The Dhamma ceremony of Aung Ta Khon monastery at
Musel, Nam Kat Group, Mine Sat village.
When the first night preaching ceremony
was finished, next day morning we went to visit to Aung Ta Khon monastery at
Mine Set village of Nan Kat group, Musel.
Total above 70 buildings in this village
and they are tea peasant. Abbot Ka Wain Na doing missionary in this village and
is already 4 years. But don’t have a good monastery because of the village is
so poor, far from city and close to war fighting area. They built Buddhist
ordination hall with donation money from Myanmar’s Cultural periods called by
Ka Htein but the surrounding area of that building were digging by the Bu
Dozers machine. So they are worried about landslide.
The pagoda, (copy design of
Shwe Dagon Pagoda) is so beautiful. There are a lot of people who want to
donate for building Pagoda but not so much for monastery. Because of that they
celebrated preaching ceremony and ask for donation.
They are closed to the arm
forces, so when the people are die abbot Ka Wain Na have to go for
“saranagonetin = (take refuge in the Three Gems to share the merit with the
deceased). Sometime, some corpses are not clear who they are and abbot Ka Wain
Na have to bury them by himself. The arm forces are did not
harm to abbot Ka Wain Na.
In this village, they owned pure
heart abbot like him, villagers can lean on that but there have not so much
donor to monastery. Abbot Ka Wain Na need to go to town for asking donating
meals. I was induced to Musel Charity groups for donating to this monastery.
Two nights for preaching
ceremony had donating money 22.51000 kyats and I was donated back for Aung Ta
Khon monastery in Paloung village, Mie Set. After preaching ceremony, De Par La
Min Company's managing director U Wanna Kyaw Htin donated following donating
money 22.51000 kyats to abbot Ka Wain Na.
I am very pleased to
donating for that and it’s really need it and the people from Musel would proud
for that donation.
